The building where Bert Newton was born is on the market with a $2.55m price tag.

The circa-1870 Fitzroy North building was once used as a maternity hospital including during the 1920s (Bert was born in 1938).

Now a double-fronted abode at 6 Freeman Street, it uniqely offers two separate residences on a 466m block title.
