MasterChef Australia topped entertainment on Tuesday and finished with a season high of 985,000 viewers in National TV Audience, lifting 100,000 on Monday’s semi final.

Although those figures are difficult to measure against last year due to ratings changes, 10 finished in second place for the night, pushing Nine into third.

MasterChef was ahead of 7:30 (736,000), I was Actually There (605,000),  Beyond the Dream: Matildas: The Rise (504,000), Britain’s Got Talent (410,000) and Great British Railway Journeys (137,000).

The Cheap Seats pulled 406,000 in a 9:40pm slot, outranking earlier shows Maggie Beer’s Big Mission (393,000), Jesse Fox: Whitewater (262,000), The Good Doctor (248,000) and Insight (207,000).

Seven News was #1 at 1.39m with Home & Away at 852,000 then The Chase (698,000).

The Project drew 380,000 for 10 then 10 News First (355,000) and Deal or No Deal (300,000).

Nine News scored 1.33m then wins by A Current Affair (1.07m) and Tipping Point (773,000). Saya Sakakibara Ride To Redemption managed 138,000.

ABC News averaged 874,000. Hard Quiz (408,000), Antiques Roadshow (244,000) and The Art Of (156,000) followed.

Tour de France was 203,000 across its long broadcast then SBS World News (176,000 / 146,000) and Mastermind (95,000).
