Supermarket chain Aldi has issued an urgent recall for a popular brand of kids chicken nuggets due to the presence of undeclared peanuts.
The recall, issued on Friday, includes all dates and batches of the 1kg bag of Farmwood chicken breast T-Rex Bites.
The product was sold at Aldi stores in NSW, ACT, QLD, SA, WA and VIC, Food Standards Australia said.

“Any consumers who have a peanut allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,” the food regulator said.
“Consumers who have a peanut allergy or intolerance should not consume this product.”
Shocked parents voiced their concern about the recall on Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia’s Facebook page.
One mother wrote that her son, who is allergic to peanuts, had a reaction to the same nuggets in January last year.
“I am furious! My son had a reaction to these at a friends (sic) place in January 2023,” the mother wrote.
“He has multiple allergies so I was trying to understand the vegetable oils they used to find the culprit and was in contact with their customer service. It has bafled (sic) me since.”
Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia said it would be speaking with Aldi about the recall.
“We do not know whether peanut is an ingredient in this product or whether the product has been contaminated with peanut,” a spokesperson for the advocacy group said on Facebook.
9News.com.au has contacted Aldi and Farmwood for comment.
Customers are being urged to return the product to any ALDI Store for a full refund.
