Two people have been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car outside a Sydney shopping centre.
A 64-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were treated for suspected spinal and head injuries after allegedly being hit by a white Audi in Zetland, in the city’s south, about 11am.
The accident happened on Gadigal Avenue near Wolseley Grove, near the East Village Shopping Centre.

Both were taken to St Vincent’s Hospital and remain in a stable condition.
Police say the 19-year-old driver returned a negative breath test and was uninjured.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
