Filming for Alone Australia S3 is now underway for SBS.
SBS Head of Unscripted Joseph Maxwell said: “Alone Australia is a ratings powerhouse for SBS.
“The show is unlike anything else on TV. Across broadcast and SBS On Demand, Australian audiences have really resonated with this authentic human survival experience, amplified by the sheer isolation and unknown wilderness.
“We’re very excited to be filming a third season in a top-secret location and to meet ten new survivalists in 2025.”
The series produced by ITV Studios Australia, which has previously filmed in Tasmania and New Zealand, is also in the running for Best Competition Reality Program at the Logie Awards to be held next month.
