UK series Lingo will screen as an afternoon game show on 10 in August.
The word gameplay is similar to the breakout hit web game, Wordle.
Screening from 2021 episodes, it is hosted by Adil Ray.
All new quiz series. Where the simplest of words can win contestants serious prize money. Just like Wordle, players have several guesses to try and find the “Lingo” word.
In 2022, ITV1 premiered the spin-off Celebrity Lingo, with RuPaul as host.
2:30pm weekdays from Monday August 12 on 10.
