Police believe a man who was driven to a hospital with a gunshot wound just before 5.30am today was involved in a “targeted” attack in Melbourne’s north-west.
The man presented with “non-life-threatening injuries”, according to Victoria Police.
It’s believed he was shot on Evergreen Avenue in Albanvale, about 18km north-west of Melbourne’s CBD.

Detectives are investigating the shooting.
“Investigators believe this was a targeted incident,” a Victoria Police spokesperson said.
