Lisa McCune has won Dancing with the Stars 2024, defeating singer Samantha Jade for the Mirror Ball Trophy.
SAS Australia‘s Ant Middleton came third.
A bumper five grand finalists –also including James Stewart & Nikki Osborne – performed their own Freestyle dance.
McCune drew perfect scores for her old-school Hollywood-inspired performance, which Helen Richey called the stand out performance of the night, while Nikki Osborne and James Stewart were subsequently eliminated.
The final three re-performed routines before the studio audience cast their final vote.
Final scores were:
Lisa McCune and Ian Waite: 40 + 39 = 79
Samantha Jade and Gustavo Viglio: 38 + 38 = 76
Ant Middleton and Alex Vladimirov: 34 + 36 = 70
Nikki Osborne and Aric Yegudkin: 31
James Stewart and Jorja Freeman: 30
$20,000 went to McCune’s chosen charities, the RCD Foundation and the Harrison Reidel Foundation.
“I’m so thrilled” she said, before praising her dancing partner Ian Waite.
Of her Mirror Ball Trophy to added to her accolades, she joked: “It will keep my Logies company.”
