Gold Logie winner Larry Emdur has made good on his promise to get a tattoo of the Gold nominees on his bum if he won.
This morning on The Morning Show Zach from Bondi Inked added a Logie trophy with the initials of the other nominees in the ‘TV screen’, in between various advertorials and with Seven News cameras in attendance.
Kylie Gillies asked Laz if his promise to get the tattoo wasjust a throwaway line?
“It was a throwaway line, thinking that I wasn’t going to win Gold. But no, I’m going to go through with it. I’m a man of my bum. No, I’m a man of my word and today, upon this very program, I will be getting the nominees initials. I’ve chosen the right cheek. The entire crew has been involved in the design. Everyone’s had a bit of a look and a feel this morning and decided where it should go and how it should look,” he replied.
“My mum just texted me and said, ‘What time is the tattoo? I want to put it up on the big screen in the retirement village.’”
Emdur partied hard til around 2:30am last night and this morning extended his thanks to Seven viewers.
“I felt such warmth and such support through all of this crazy campaign. And you (Kylie) drove that campaign bus right into the foyer of the casino last night.I just want to thank everyone who who voted, all our viewers, who voted, all the crew here, this is just such a team effort, right? So when I stood up there last night, I knew it was about everybody here, and all the crew and everybody on The Chase, and you for running a beautiful, fierce campaign.”
