NAB has been struck by a major tech outage impacting its internet, mobile and desktop banking. 

The outage was first reported around 4pm, with some users met with a message saying: “Internet Banking isn’t working at the moment.”

The lender has taken to social media to tell customers it’s aware of the issues and is working to resolve them.

“We’re aware of an issue currently impacting our mobile app and desktop banking,” it said in a statement.

“We’re sorry for any inconvenience this is causing our customers. 

“Our tech team is currently investigating and working to fix this as soon as possible. We are continuing to keep our customers updated.” 

Mobile users attempting to use the NAB app were told that account balances and transaction history were unavailable.
