A man has been charged with murder over the deaths of two people in the Brisbane suburb of Mitchelton.
A 41-year-old man from Greenslopes was taken into custody after he was found at the scene of a home on Kentville Street about 8.50am yesterday.
There, police had found a 61-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman dead.

The man has today been charged with two counts of murder (reckless indifference), and two counts each of supplying dangerous drugs and possessing dangerous drugs.
He will face Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
Police said they will allege the 41-year-old failed to contact emergency services.
He had also allegedly known the pair.

Officers yesterday taped off a large area encompassing three homes and spoke to a witness who had helped police.
Several children had been taken away from the home and were being looked after by child protection workers.
