A man who allegedly poured a thermos of hot liquid on a baby in a Brisbane park is still at large a week later as dozens of officers work to find him.
A woman and her baby were enjoying a picnic at Hanlon Park in Stones Corner about midday on Tuesday last week when they were approached by a stranger.
The man poured hot liquid on the nine-month-old boy and fled, police said.

The baby remains in hospital with serious burns and has undergone surgery.
His mother said the little boy has started walking again despite being swathed in bandages.

The man is described as in his 30s or 40s and of a proportionate build with tanned skin.
The boy’s mother has called on anybody with information to come forward.
“I’m just having flashbacks all the time about what happened,” the mother said.
“I don’t know who would think that is OK to harm a little, innocent baby.”
