Hwei Loke has been appointed Head of Prime Video Australia and New Zealand, succeeding Hushidar Kharas, who was the #1 for Prime Video Australia & New Zealand.
Kharas will take on a new role as Head of Global Prime Video Brand and Social Strategy based in the U.S.
Hwei Loke (pictured top) joined the Prime Video Australian team in 2020. With over 15 years’ experience, she has previously led marketing and creative teams at The Walt Disney Company, SBS and Paramount (previously ViacomCBS).
In further changes Mark Shopiro (above left) will step into the role of Head of Prime Video in Canada. Dan Slepak (above right) will step into the newly created role of Head of Marketplace, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
All three new appointments will be reporting into Magda Grace, head of Prime Video, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
