It comes after 19-year-old Marc Bounassif was arrested and charged with similar offences yesterday when detectives executed a search warrant at a Craigieburn property.

He was also found to be in possession of drugs including MDMA and cannabis and was charged accordingly.

Bounassif, who was on bail when he allegedly slashed the club patron, fronted court today where he was remanded to appear again in December.

The accused was supported by his parents as the court heard he suffers from depression, anxiety, ADHD and PTSD.

Terrified patrons who witnessed the attack said staff used tea towels to stop the man bleeding before paramedics arrived to the incident on September 15.
