Australian TV & Movies podcast The Oz Network has brought together former cast & crew of the John Wells show Third Watch to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the show’s premiere on September 23rd, 1999.
Featured in the episode are co-creator of the show Ed Allen Bernero, director and co-producer Guy Norman Bee as well as cast members Skipp Sudduth, Coby Bell, Anthony Ruivivar, Yvonne Jung Ruivivar, Bill Walsh, Lisa Vidal, Nahanni Johnstone, Savannah Sanfield & Darien Sills-Evans.
The show, which told the stories of the police, paramedics and firefighters of the fictional 55th precinct in New York City, ran for six seasons between 1999 and 2005 and helped launch the careers of many notable people including Bobby Cannavale, Kim Raver, Eddie Cibrian and Nia Long and featured guest stars such as Helen Mirren, JK Simmons, Viola Davis, Gene Simmons, Sterling K Brown, Roy Schieder, Henry Winkler, Rosie O’Donnell and even saw the acting debut of the late Chadwick Boseman.
