Caine was a once famed swimming coach, who a court recently found raped and abused six young female athletes at Carrs Park and Cronulla pools up to five decades ago.
The 78-year-old died in disgrace last month, after a more than two-year battle with cancer.
Unconnected allegations have now been made against Kearny, who is facing eight charges, including stalking and intimidation, sexually touching a child between 10 and 16, as well as indecent and common assault.
