CCTV footage has shown the moment two women were threatened at gunpoint during a terrifying armed robbery in Victoria’s north last month.

Police have released vision of the Shepparton armed robbery as they continue to search for two offenders, who were armed with a knife and gun at the time of the robbery.

The footage shows two men wearing black clothing and balaclavas enter a Benalla Road store about 9:40pm on September 30.

One man, armed with a long knife, can be seen walking behind the counter and filling a black duffle bag with cartons of cigarettes.

A second offender is depicted pointing a gun at two female store workers, before the men walk towards the exit of the shop.

The armed offenders then appear to change their minds, pointing the gun at the women again and signalling toward the till.

One of the shop workers can be seen emptying the cash contents of the till into a duffle bag before the offenders left the scene.

Police believe the offenders fled south on Archer Street in a dark-coloured Ford Falcon sedan, bearing false registration plates 1UF5GS.

Police have also released a description of the men they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.

The first male is described as being Caucasian in appearance, of medium build and is approximately 170cm tall.

He was seen wearing a black hooded jumper with white writing on both arms and white logo on left side of chest, a black balaclava, dark grey gloves, black pants and cream-coloured shoes with black tape around the middle.

The second male is described as being of solid build and was seen wearing a black hooded jumper with white logo on right side of chest, a dark grey face covering, dark grey gloves, black shoes and dark blue jeans.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers.
