Nine local drama Blood On The Tracks: The Platform Killer, previously announced for 2024 is not proceeding due to being unable to secure financing.
The series by Easy Tiger and Anton was initially announced for 2024, but by mid year it was pushed back to 2025 and key Melbourne crew were advised. No casting had been announced.
Nine is understood to be disappointed by the outcome.
A Nine spokesperson told TV Tonight, “It’s with regret that Blood On The Tracks: The Platform Killer won’t go ahead due to financing”.
They added, “We don’t have a new drama to announce at the moment for 2025 but we are in discussion on new projects”.

When a train commuter is found dead during peak hour, police suspect suicide. But when Detective Kate Fletcher finds links to an ‘accidental’ death at a suburban station, she suspects something far more sinister in the 9Network’s new crime thriller, Blood On The Tracks – the Platform Killer. Despite pressure to drop her investigation, Fletcher uncovers a web of connections to other deaths on the rail network. Her investigation takes her from the city underground to outback freight lines, but is she prepared for what she’ll discover? And is Fletcher herself in the killer’s sights?
