The Block 2024 auction will be filmed on Saturday November 9 on Phillip Island.
It will screen at 7pm Sunday November 10 leaving three more weeks of ratings in the2024 survey year for Nine.
The Block has dominated Q3 and Q4 for Nine winning its slot since the Olympics concluded. Together with Married at First Sight, the two shows book end Nine’s ratings schedule.
The final week of episodes is also expected to see a return by former contestants Jesse & Paige who famously quit the series after 5 weeks.
Executive Producer Julian Cress said, “Jesse and Paige presented as completely willing and enthusiastic participants in the show that they’ve been watching for 20 years. So the fact that it became more challenging for them than they were able to withstand, is a very unusual outcome. They made the right decision at the right time, and we moved on. But you will see them return later in the show as well.
“They say that they stand by the decision to come on the show. They stand by the decision to leave the show. And they stand by how they’re feeling now. It is what it is, right? It’s reality television. Everybody’s got to understand that occasionally when you’re dealing with reality, you are going to face things that are new.”
As per the rules of the competition, successors Maddy & Charlotte are now set to reap the rewards of the casting shake-up when the hammer falls in November.
Homes have price guide of $1.7 million to $1.85 million.
