An investigation is under way after a woman’s body was found in NSW west.
Police were called to Parkdale Road in Bourke in response at 8am today and set up a crime scene.
The woman, who is yet to be formally identified, is believed to be 47 years old.

A 49-year-old man known to the woman is currently assisting with inquiries at Bourke Police Station.
Specialist police have been called to the scene.
Police are also looking to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time with dashcam or mobile phone footage.
Police said the death is believed to be suspicious.
