There’s growing concern over the safety around a popular Brisbane park after a brawl spilled out onto a major thoroughfare.
A video obtained by 9News showed the mayhem unfold at Musgrave Park just metres from Brisbane State High yesterday afternoon.
A man was seen walking out onto Cordelia Street clutching his head while a woman walked away carrying what appeared to be a stick.

A quarrel between two men then turned into a chase into the path of oncoming traffic.
After coming to a standstill for several minutes, traffic began to move again but the chase continued dangerously close to a cement truck.
The men was seen running through traffic.
Police were called to the scene. No one has been charged.
The brawl has raised concerns about safety in the area.
“This is out of control and we are working really hard to ensure community safety,” Brisbane City Councillor Sarah Hutton said.

“Just two weeks ago we had two fires and a report of a stabbing.”
Council cut power to Musgrave Park last week after receiving hundreds of complaints of antisocial behaviour but it maintains the power was never designed to be used by members of the public.
Council said power boxes have been damaged.
“They’re actually hot-wiring the barbecues and hot-wiring it from there,” Hutton said.
