Princess Anne, the sister of King Charles III, has been hospitalised with minor injuries and a concussion, the royal family says.
Buckingham Palace did not say how the 73-year-old daughter of Queen Elizabeth II suffered her injuries.
“The Princess Royal has sustained minor injuries and concussion following an incident on the Gatcombe Park estate yesterday evening,” the palace said in a statement.

“Her Royal Highness remains in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, as a precautionary measure for observation and is expected to make a full and swift recovery.
“The King has been kept closely informed and joins the whole royal family in sending his fondest love and well-wishes to the princess for a speedy recovery.
Anne is regarded as one of the hardest working members of the royal family, attending dozens of official events throughout the year.
She is the second of Elizabeth and Prince Philips four children and their only daughter.
