A young man has been charged for allegedly storming a fast food restaurant with a fake gun in south-west Sydney while out on bail.
Police were called to the Princes Highway at Engadine about 7pm yesterday over reports a man had demanded food and threatened staff with a gun.
Officers arrested a 23-year-old at the scene.

“A search of the man by police allegedly located a home-made item in the shape of a handgun,” police said.
The man was taken to Sutherland Police Station where he was charged with robbery while armed with a dangerous weapon and breach of bail.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Parramatta Local Court today.
